| Bridging The Gap Project (BTGP) is a health initiative of Ebenezer M. B. Church's Ebenezer Church Foundation, located in the heart of Indianapolis, IN. BTGP works in the African-American and minority communities using a three-pronged strategy of Awareness, Application and Advocacy to provide HIV/AIDS prevention and intervention services using non-traditional and alternative testing methods. We have successfully completed a four-year grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to do HIV testing, education & prevention work in underserved communities. Because African Americans only make up 12% of the population, yet account for more than 50% of all new HIV infections, we continue our work in the community of Bridging The Gap! |
